Work / Transparent by design

Work that shows
its logic.

These original concept studies demonstrate how Kernel House Systems approaches a brief. They are not commissioned client projects.

STUDIO CONCEPT / 01FoundryOSBUILDThe operating picture, assembled.

Studio concept / Manufacturing operations

FoundryOS — The operating picture, assembled.

Challenge
A fictional manufacturer needed a clearer way to coordinate work orders, material exceptions, maintenance events, and shift handovers.
Strategic response
We separated planning from live execution, then designed event-based services and role-specific interfaces around the operational record.
System
Domain model, application architecture, internal-tool interface, API contracts, event log, and phased deployment plan.
Concept outcome
An original systems concept demonstrating architecture and product thinking; no production deployment or efficiency result is claimed.

Studio concept / Distributed asset planning

Maproom — Know what changed, where, and why.

Challenge
A fictional infrastructure team needed to track distributed assets, inspections, evidence, and follow-up work across locations.
Strategic response
We centred the system on a reliable asset history with map context, controlled permissions, offline-aware workflows, and explicit exceptions.
System
Technical discovery, responsive platform design, service architecture, synchronisation strategy, quality plan, and operational documentation.
Concept outcome
A concept platform showing how technical foundations and interface design can support accountable field-to-office workflows.
